Why a license matters
Licensed, insured, and accountable for the work we do
Flo State is a Florida state certified plumbing contractor, fully insured, with a one-year workmanship warranty behind every job. Here is what that means for you.
State certified plumbing contractor
Flo State holds a Florida state certified plumbing contractor license, so the work is done by a contractor the State stands behind.
Fully insured on every job
We carry liability coverage, so your property is protected while we are working in it.
Permitted and inspected
When a job calls for a permit, we pull it and see it through inspection, so the work is on record and passes code review.
One-year workmanship warranty
If something we installed is not right, you have a licensed business to call and we come back to make it right.
What you give up with unlicensed work
Hiring someone without a license, insurance, or permits hands the risk and the repair bill to you.
No insurance, no protection
Unlicensed workers carry no liability coverage. If they flood your home or damage a line, you pay for the cleanup out of pocket.
Work done with no permits
Plumbing that skips permitting and inspection can fail code review, void a sale, and leave hidden defects behind the walls.
No warranty, no recourse
There is no license to file a complaint against and no business to stand behind the work. When something fails, the worker is gone.
Liability lands on you
In Florida, hiring an unlicensed contractor for structural or plumbing work can shift liability for injuries and property damage onto the property owner.
